Passive Cooling Technology AcuTemp PX1L portable units are capable of extended hold times without ice and with no active cooling. PX1L cases are passively cooled using AcuTemps patented PXC coolant packs. When conditioned, these packs maintain temperatures within specified ranges for extended periods of time. To sustain these temperatures, AcuTemp PX1L portable units incorporate AcuTemps ThermoCor high performance insulation technology. This highly efficient insulation has an R Value up to 45 per inch thickness (0.00312 W/mK) the highest in the industry. As a result, PX1L internal temperatures are efficiently maintained and valuable contents are delivered to the point of use at the right temperature.
